At Fiona Jennings Optician, you will always find excellent eyecare, great eyewear and personal service. Our team love what we do, and it shows. Over the years we have grown to become a busy successful practice, and we are proud of our reputation.
The practice opened in 2001, Fiona arrived soon after and became the owner in 2006. The practice has continued to grow over the years and has a well established reputation in the local community and beyond.
We have traditional values of excellent customer service, whilst providing the most up to date technologically advanced eyecare and lenses, along with an exceptional range of beautiful frames.
In 2018, a day of horrific floods wreaked havoc on our walls and floors and meant we had to move out. We took this opportunity to redesign the practice to create somewhere modern and elegant whilst still welcoming and comfortable.

Meet the Team
Fiona Jennings
Fiona, Optometrist and Owner, graduated from University of Ulster in 2001. After various jobs in the multiple sector, she found that independent eyecare, with its ability to build relationships and be part of people’s lives was certainly the life she wanted to live. Since the inception of the practice she gained a husband and 2 sons, all whilst continuing to grow the business.
Clare Donnelly
Clare, our Optometrist , graduated from University of Ulster in 2006. She joined the team when Fiona had her first son in 2012 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Her highly professional approach and attention to detail keeps us all on our toes.
Jamie Stewart
Jamie joined the practice as manager in 2018 and brought with her a wealth of Optical knowledge and expertise. She loves glasses and is great at selecting just the right frame for every face. Jamie runs a tight ship with a bright smile and gorgeous glasses.
Geraldine Mulgrew
Geraldine joined the practice in 2004, bringing years of experience from the multiples and her unique friendliness and charm. Dromore born and bred, she can be trusted for an honest opinion and genuine care. Always given with a smile and a laugh, she enjoys her job almost as much as her cups of tea!
Alison Irwin
Alison joined the team in 2017 and brought her own unique colourful charm to the practice. Once she discovered glasses can be gorgeous, she started to wear her new frames with confidence and style. Never a shrinking violet, Alison loves to encourage clients to try on something different. Her sense of style, along with her friendly presence at the desk, brings sparkle to our day!
